Step 1: Login
Visit higharc.com and login.
You should have an account with your company email account.

Step 2: Set up a Community
Create a new Community
Communities are collections of homes in Higharc, here you can configure your master plans and create lot-specific construction sets, bills of materials and CAD packages for consultants.



Edit Community Standards (optional)
With Higharc, you have the power to easily change common architectural standards for plans in your community. Once you have created a new community, click the utility menu [···] in the header and select Edit Community Standards.


Step 3: Use Master Plans in your Community
Select Add Community Plan to use a Master Plan from your library in this community. Then, you can customize availability of its elevations and options, and set pricing and base conditions specifically for this community.

Customize your Elevations
You can enable or disable elevations for a community, change the price or descriptions associated with an elevation, or change the base elevation.
Manage Options
Scroll through the list of available options and deselect any option to remove it from the plan in this community. For any lot with this plan in the community, your customers may choose from any enabled option.

Adjust Pricing and Base Conditions
Set what is included in the base price and set a price for any option for the home specific to this community.

Step 4: Create a Home Plan for a spec or customer
The home plan is where you can set up a lot-specific home with all of its options and walk through the process of customizing the home with customers.
Add a new home plan by selecting ‘Create a Home Plan’. You’ll provide some basic information about the lot and/or customer and then configure the home with the Higharc Viewer.

Configure the Home Plan: Select an Elevation and Options
Customers can select the elevation of their choice and choose options. They can even choose to do so in 3D. Every configuration made is represented on the lot-specific plan set.

Step 5: Download CDs, BOM, and CAD files
Every home plan in Higharc has its own set of option-specific CDs, take-offs, and CAD files. Simply choose a community and click to the “Home Plans” section to find the plan you’re looking for. Here are some things to do on the Home Plan page generally speaking and for each life cycle phase...

- Invite a Purchasing Manager to view and approve the home plan (optional)
- Download and review Construction documents: Plan Set (PDF), Bill of Materials (XLSX) — also known as BOM, and the DXF (CAD)
- Move the Home Plan to Phase 3: Construction
Phase 3: Construction
- Feed your BOM into your favorite estimating tool and/or ERP and build your option specific floor plan.
